Supertec Machinery Shows Grinder Product Range

Supertec Machinery, Inc. plans to show their broad grinder product range at the 2024 IMTS exhibit in Chicago.

Three popular grinder types to be displayed at IMTS are the Planotec-1224NC automatic surface grinder, the HR-16 rotary surface grinder, and the STC-1206 centerless grinder. Some of the more popular features of these grinders include:

Planotec-1224NC Surface Grinder – The Planotec 3 axis automatic surface grinders, with their heavy duty design and a long list of features make them the leader in grinder in the industry. With an AC servo motor and precision ballscrew on the downfeed and a precision ballscrew on the crossfeed, coupled with the easy to learn and easy to program conversational PC control it is the surface grinder of choice in both toolrooms and on the production floor.

STC-1206S Centerless Grinder – Supertec centerless grinders, introduced in 1954, are the bellwether centerless in the industry. Due to their easy change over from thrufeed to infeed operations they are popular in both job shops and production environments. Supertec centerless grinders are offered with 3 different levels of operation, manual, automatic and full 6 axis CNC. With many different types of automation and machine ranges from 12” x 06” to 20” x 12” wheels, Supertec is truly the industry leader in centerless grinding.

HR-16 Rotary Grinder – Supertec rotary surface grinders offer superior grinding performance with the ability for surface, plunge, step, and multiple grinding applications. Many shops choose rotary surface grinders over standard surface grinders due to their ability to remove material faster and provide a better surface finish. The PLC based conversational control with its shop floor language offers faster set-up, and an automatic wheel dresser with auto compensation reduces cycle times.
